Fantastic stuff, get submitting!
Two Destination Language are looking for submissions from artists of all kinds to take part in FLINT, a two-day interdisciplinary microfest of contemporary work which will take place on November 17th at Salisbury Arts Centre and November 18th at Pound Arts Corsham. There will be 20 artists programmed across the two days, showcasing a spectrum of the work contemporary artists are making.
Whatever your artform, if you have an exciting work to share with audiences in Wiltshire, we’d like to hear from you. We want performance, dance, live art, music, visual arts, theatre – anything with a performative element to involve an audience. There’s no particular theme your work has to fit, but it needs to engage audiences – we want them to enjoy experiencing contemporary work.
There’s a fee of £350 available, plus a limited contribution to travel expenses if you’re coming from outside the area. Full details are available at http://www.twodestinationlanguage.com/?page_id=369 where you’ll find a link to the online submission form. If you have any questions, email alister or kat @twodestinationlanguage.com
FLINT microfest is supported by Arts Council England, Wiltshire Council and Creative Ecology Wiltshire.

Nice work Peter, Meril and Faye on the report and your part in creating the incredible arts ecology in Wiltshire!
Wiltshire Cultural Strategy Consultation
Please see the following sent by Arts Officer Meril Morgan.
DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 14TH
Wiltshire Council is leading on the creation of a Cultural Strategy for the county. The purpose of the strategy is to enable every part of the cultural sector to work together to focus energy and resources upon a set of shared objectives that will transform the cultural offer and deliver real benefits for the communities of Wiltshire.
A consultation paper has been developed through a process of small group consultation led by Wiltshire Council Arts Service and through an Open Space event in November 2011 led by Creative Ecology Wiltshire. This consultation paper proposes a definition of culture as well as identifying the building blocks for a vision for culture in Wiltshire.
