What do you think about WAP?

We are currently carrying out some evaluation on WAP's work. The brilliant Chrissie Godfrey is doing this for us. She may contact some of you as 'stakeholders' of WAP but if she doesn't please do leave any thoughts and comments here about what sort of impact WAP has had on  the arts in the County, how it has helped, not helped you and what you think the priorities might usefully be for WAP to focus on in the future.

Thanks all.

Strive, Survive, Thrive

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Monday for our first 'proper' conference. The feed back we've had was extremely positive and the speakers were really inspirational.

Don't worry if you weren't able to make it as we filmed the day and will be publishing them on our very own You Tube channel shortly so will let you have the link when that's done.

If any of you who cam want to comment on the day on this blog please do.

Thanks again.

Here's to an exciting future for the Arts in Wiltshire.

Major Gift Manager post

This job has been emailed to me, I thought it might be worth sharing!

Round Square seeks a part time Major Gift Manager to develop and implement a major gift strategy that is appropriate for the organisation.

Part Time (2-days per week) Major Gift Manager
Salary £50.5 to 52k (fte)
Location –either in our Kent office or home based, accessible to London
Round Square is a worldwide association of schools which share a commitment beyond academic excellence, to personal development and responsibility, preparing young people for life through service, challenge, adventure and international understanding.

Round Square inspires students throughout the world so that their generation will strive for new levels of co-operation, communication and understanding.

Round Square is a registered charity in the UK. Currently there are more than 85 global member schools and 21 regional member schools worldwide who actively subscribe its philosophy. This philosophy incorporates the Round Square IDEALS which are Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Adventure, Leadership and Service for all students at these schools.

This is a new role that is being established at an exciting time in the organisation’s history and offers huge scope for donor cultivation.

Round Square has a compelling case for support, has good relationships that already exist but now wishes to systematically develop a donor constituency. With an impressive list of Patrons, Fellows and Board Members, Round Square is well positioned to develop a successful major donor programme to support its work.

This is a unique chance to join a rapidly growing educational charity and offers an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual with a track record of success to make your mark ultimately on a global stage.

If you offer significant major gift fundraising experience or transferable skills, have an interest in education and the ability to network at the highest level, this is an exciting opportunity to work on high level donor development.
