National Family Week

National Family Week aims to celebrate family life in the UK and connect millions of families with the organisations, charities, good causes and services that support them. For the last two years, families have enjoyed thousands of events, competitions, special offers and much more as part of the UK’s biggest celebration of family life.

National Family Week 2011 will take place from Monday 30 May – Sunday 5 June and aims to be bigger and better, engaging with thousands of families nationwide.

Get involved …

Why not be a part of National Family Week 2011 and organise family-friendly events and activities for your local community? Your organisation can hold a Family Week event to showcase and publicise what you have to offer families, and can also double up as a fundraising exercise for one of your projects.

Exactly what type of activity or event is entirely up to you and these events can take place at any time during the week. Or alternatively, if you already have events planned for that week, why not co-brand them National Family Week events? Those who register any type of event are eligible to receive free branded merchandise; such as balloons, posters, stickers, and voucher booklets.

Also, if you usually charge for any of your services, perhaps you could provide a family discount or offer during The Week, to get more families through the doors?

Free promotion

Register your organisation online and benefit from free promotion through the Event Finder, as well as access to the merchandise. Promote The Week

Please promote National Family Week through your marketing materials telling people about The Week – and any events you may be running at that time too. We can provide you with editorial copy, website banners etc, or you could simply direct people to our website, www.nationalfamilyweek.co.uk.
