Community And Voluntary Sector (CVS) Awards

The deadline for entries for the above is 15 July 2011 - we would love to have projects in the arts sector nominated in the various categories; view these at:

Wiltshire Council and NHS Wiltshire are keen to acknowledge the contribution made by the VCS to the well-being of Wiltshire residents. You may be working on something exceptional or innovative that is helping to transform the lives of people in Wiltshire. Are you proud to share the work you are doing? If so, we are keen to hear from you, spread the message and celebrate!

The awards have been designed to recognise good practice and good performance, encourage sharing of success stories and to celebrate the many excellent and innovative things happening in the county. It will culminate with an evening Awards Ceremony on 4 October 2011, in the Corn Exchange in Devizes, where results will be announced and awards presented. There will be a chance to hear inspiring speakers, great stories from nominees and an opportunity to talk to other nominees in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

Nominating your organisation, group, club or project is easy:

* look at the list of awards categories and decide which category the work you’re involved in is most suitable for. You can enter more than one category but please complete a separate form for each award;
* download the VCS awards 2011 - nomination form relevant nomination form/s 16mb (form is attached) and save it to your computer or contact Leanne Homewood to receive a paper copy in the post;
* answer all the questions in full;
* email the completed form/s to vcs@wiltshire.gov.uk ; or
* post it to -
